Hero's Ark ("the Game," "the Service") is a browser-based online role-playing game operated by Shadow Lights Entertainment ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or playing Hero's Ark, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may notify you in-game or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to play Hero's Ark. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Accounts are personal to you. You may not sell, trade, gift, or otherwise transfer your account, characters, or any part of your account to another person.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play Hero's Ark for your own non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Shadow Lights Entertainment.
Hero's Ark is a shared world. While using the Service, you agree not to:
If you discover a bug or exploit, report it to us rather than using it. Knowingly abusing an exploit is a violation of these Terms.
Characters, gold, resources, items, buildings, troops, war camps, and all other in-game content ("Virtual Items") are features of the Service licensed to you, not your property. Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for money, and may be modified, rebalanced, or removed at any time as part of the ongoing operation and development of the Game.
The Game — including its code, design, artwork, text, world, lore, names, and all other content — is owned by Shadow Lights Entertainment and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Game or any part of it, except as permitted by applicable law.
Names, ideas, and feedback you voluntarily submit to us about the Game may be used by us to improve the Service without obligation or compensation to you.
Hero's Ark is a live, evolving game. We may add, change, rebalance, or remove features, content, and game systems at any time. We may suspend or interrupt the Service for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at any particular time, that game data will never be lost, or that the Game will be supported indefinitely.
We may suspend or terminate your account, restrict access, remove content, or reverse in-game gains if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, harmed the Service or other players, or where required by law. For serious violations, we may act without prior warning.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Upon termination for any reason, your license to play ends and you lose access to your account and all Virtual Items, with no compensation owed.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shadow Lights Entertainment shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, Virtual Items, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed fifty US dollars (US $50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability; in those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shadow Lights Entertainment from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service.
